Today is the second in my Life Changing Books Series. I read this book in my 20’s, after finding it by accident in the library. It’s a gem from Fulton Sheen, The World’s First Love. It’s about our Blessed Mother, but it offers the most profound understanding of the beauty of femininity and womanhood. This book spoke to my soul so powerfully and was truly transformative.
Women today are stressed like never before. So much of it boils down to living in a culture that militates against the true beauty and power of femininity. Sheen hits the nail on the head on this one.
