In this video, I’m reflecting on a powerful question I heard in a movie recently, “Is life happening to me or for me?” It got me thinking about how our perspective really shapes our experience. When we believe that everything in life is happening for us, we start to see even the tough, stressful, or tragic moments as part of God’s greater plan, either through His ordaining or permitting will. Sometimes He’s building our virtue, strengthening our faith, or guiding us away from something that isn’t right for us—even if we want it badly. But when we see life as happening to us, it’s easy to feel like a victim, drained, and disconnected from God’s blessings. So, what’s your perspective? Remember, we have a loving God working all things for our good.
