Have you ever asked yourself if you’re truly giving God permission to work in your life? On the Feast of the Annunciation, we are reminded of a powerful moment of faith, freedom, and trust—when Mary said her “yes” to God’s plan.
In this episode, I reflect on the meaning of Mary’s fiat—“Be it done unto me according to thy word”—and what it teaches us about allowing God to act in our lives. Just as the angel Gabriel waited for Mary’s response, God also respects our freedom and invites us to freely welcome His grace.
During this Lenten journey toward Holy Week, I explore how attachments, fears, or even our identity as a “wounded person” can sometimes block the healing and freedom God wants to give us. From a Catholic perspective, true freedom comes when we surrender our plans and trust God’s greater purpose.
Join me in reflecting on Mary’s example and inviting God to move in your life.
What might God be asking your “yes” to today?
