Podcast of Allison Ricciardi, LMHC on Relevant Radio’s The Drew Mariani Show on the topic: Hashtag #NotOkay and the Reality of Sexual Assault on Women

According to recent statistics, millions of women have been victims of sexual assault. However, sexual harassment and sexual assault are much more than a collection of statistics.

Recently in October, thousands of women replied (and are still replying) to Kelly Oxford’s tweet (using the hashtag #NotOkay) with their own stories of the first time they remember being sexually assaulted.

Some women were as young as four years old at the time of their first assault. Many of the assailants were older men, like soccer coaches and teachers, and in some cases they were family members or family friends.

Listen to Allison Ricciardi and Drew Mariani as they discuss the reality of sexual assault on women.
