Today is a special day, we celebrate the birth of The Blessed Virgin Mary. Mary said little in scripture but what she did say gives us great hope, especially during these tumultuous times in which we find ourselves. Taking a look at the Magnificat, Mary’s exclamation after greeting Elizabeth, it occurred to me that what she spoke is truth—then, today, and always.
